From production to delivery, sustainability is a top priority.

Our swimwear, packaging, labels, and stickers are all made with or from recycled or eco-friendly materials, or are reusable.

For each bikini made, a 10-cent donation is split across two different grassroots organizations centered around ocean cleanup and women's education.

To keep the items safe in transit to you, the swimwear is first packaged in ventilated, 100% compostable bags, a sustainable alternative to traditional plastic bags made from a combination of PBAT and PLA (a corn-based biopolymer). We ventilate the bags to prevent moisture buildup and protect the swimwear from potential mold, mildew, or odors that can develop in unventilated, enclosed spaces, especially shipping to or through humid climates. Each compostable bag used represents two less plastic bags in our oceans.

These bags compost within:

• 4-8 months in a home-compost
• 3 months in an industrial composting facility
• 2 years in a landfill

To compost at home: remove labels, cut them up, and place in your compost bin.

The swimwear is then placed in reusable Beach Bee zip locks that can serve as a makeup bag, toiletry bag, etc.

The items are shipped out in mailers made from 100% recycled materials. This creates 123% less CO2-equivalent emissions - eliminating all of its own greenhouse gas emissions while actively removing additional CO2 from the atmosphere - and 72% less resource depletion, using significantly fewer natural resources compared to a standard method.
